Dr Garsing Wong
Dr Garsing Wong is a graduate of Auckland and attained his qualification with the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, which is the only internationally recognised certifying Board for hair surgeons. He was awarded the prestigious James E. Arnold M.D. award for achieving the highest grade in the written examination.
Garsing is an examiner for the American Board of Hair Restoration surgery, as well as holding the position of ISHRS Ambassador for Patient Safety. He has given talks on hair restoration in Denver, Colorado and has been invited to present at the upcoming ISHRS World Congress in Berlin this year. Together with Dr Thomas Doo, they have a dedicated centre of excellence for Hair Transplantation in Auckland, looking after patients all over New Zealand as well as International patients who fly in from USA, Australia, Europe and the Pacific.
New Zealand Hair Transplantation Institute has pioneered the Long Hair and Partial Shaved Hair FUE transplantation techniques, as well as eyebrows, beard and moustache transplantation.
